Evelyn Rasmussen Osazuwa is a Norwegian actress and spoken word artist. She trained as an actress at Teaterhøjskolen Rødkilde (Rødkilde, Denmark), TVI Acting Studio (New York City, USA) and Nordic Black Express (Oslo, Norway). She has since performed in a number of theatre, TV and film productions covering a broad range of genres.

Her career in television began with the recurring role of “Amanda” in “Hotel Cæsar”, Norway’s longest running TV drama. Later, she starred as one of the leading characters of the comedy drama series “Oljefondet” (directed by Harald Zwart). She has also had smaller roles, such as in the film “Ninjababy” (directed by Yngvild Sve Flikke), the TV series “Maskineriet” (dir: Richard Holm) and NRK’s “Lovleg” (directed by Caroline Johansen).

In 2017, Evelyn Rasmussen Osazuwa became the first female spoken word artist to become world champion in slam poetry at the Grand Slam Paris. She was also the first person from a Nordic country to do so. She has written and starred in three slam poetry plays, the last of which, “Fruen fra havet”, premiered at Norway’s National Theatre during the Ibsen Festival in 2018.
